Borussia Dortmund won victory at Eintracht Frankfurt with to a late header from Jude Bellingham, closing the gap on Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.
The England midfielder equalized in the 87th minute before Mahmoud Dahoud scored a late victory.
Rafael Borre’s quickfire double had put Frankfurt 2-0 ahead at the interval. Thorgan Hazard equalized before Bellingham and Dahoud scored to pull Dortmund within six points of Bayern at the top of the table.
Dortmund took advantage of Bayern Munich’s stunning home defeat by Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday thanks to a spectacular late reversal.
Bellingham’s goal was his first in the Bundesliga since October, and only his fourth since joining from Birmingham City for £20.7 million in July 2020.
At the same time he was scoring against Eintracht Frankfurt, his 16-year-old brother Jobe was making his senior debut for Birmingham in their extra-time defeat by Plymouth in the third round of the FA Cup.
