Antonio Brown, a wide receiver with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has departed the team after a dramatic walkout against the New York Jets. Midway through the third quarter, the 33-year-old took off his jersey and pads, nodded to the crowd, and walked back to the locker room.

While on the sidelines, Brown was purportedly enraged by a talk with a member of the team’s personnel.

“He is no longer a Buc,” said head coach Bruce Arians after the game. “That is the end of the story, Let’s talk about the guys who went out there and won the game.”

The Buccaneers, who were down 24-10 at the time of Brown’s walk-off, went on to win 28-24, improving their record to 12-4 for the season. They’ve already earned a spot in the play-offs.

Brown had three receptions for 26 yards when he exited the field, helping the Bucs win Super Bowl 55 last year.In seven games this season, he has 42 catches for 545 yards and four touch downs.
