WhatsApp news tracker WABetaInfo debunked claims that the company is developing any such feature.
“WhatsApp is NOT developing a third blue check to detect screenshots: it’s fake news,” WABetaInfo wrote in a blog post obtained by flipmemes.
Also in other news, whatsapp is reportedly developing a new community feature which would give group admins more control over groups on WhatsApp.
