Ralf Rangnick Suggests ManU will Not Sign Unvaccinated Players

Ralf Rangnick has intimated that Manchester United will not sign unjabbed players due to concerns that they will miss games, and has urged hesitant stars to think about the possibility of extended Covid.

The Premier League disclosed this week that 16% of players have yet to acquire any type of vaccine against the virus, with Covid spreading throughout the country’s locker rooms.

The recent spike in cases has sparked controversy about whether clubs will sign players who refuse to be vaccinated, with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp declaring that he would not hire anyone who refused to be vaccinated.

United were recently hit by a Covid outbreak of their own, resulting in the postponements of their games against Brentford and Brighton, and interim boss Rangnick has shared Klopp’s concerns ahead of the January transfer window, where he hopes to add players to his squad.

‘Yes, I think it could be a consideration and I fully understand what Jurgen said but it also depends if you want to sign a player and risk him not being available,’ he said via The Telegraph.
