Visa Acquires Ripple Partner, “CurrencyCloud’ for $925 Million

Popular payment processing platform, Visa has completed the acquisition of Ripple partner CurrencyCloud in a whopping deal worth some $925 million.

The company completed the acquisition of CurrencyCloud for a whopping 700 million British pounds, worth around $925 million.

In a press release payment processing mogul Visa announced that it had completed the acquisition of CurrencyCloud.

Currency cloud can be seen as a platform that allows banks and fintech companies to provide foreign exchange solutions for cross-border payments.

The acquisition is worth about 925 million dollars, as seen in the deal that was signed.

This recent acquisition could boost the price of Ripple Cryptocurrency, as currency cloud was initially founded by ripple, sources say.
