Cristiano Ronaldo has donated an autographed No. 7 Portugal shirt to victims of the La Palma volcano eruption off the coast of Spain.
The Cumbre Vieja volcano erupted in September, destroying over 3,000 houses and forcing 7,000 people to flee their homes on the Canary Islands.
Ronaldo signed the Portugal home kit with his autograph and a message of support for the islands.
‘Not even a volcano’s force will be able to defeat La Palma.’ ‘I pledge my complete support for the lovely island,’ the forward stated.
According to Cadena SER, bidding for the Manchester United superstar’s shirt would begin on Christmas Eve and stop on January 6, with all earnings going to the victims.
At the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ronaldo donated £850,000 to hospitals in Portugal, and this is his newest charitable endeavor.
