Because of the high number of coronavirus infections, the NBA has postponed the next two Brooklyn Nets games as well as games for three other clubs.
Due to the latest wave of new cases, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic, and Philadelphia 76ers will all have their games postponed.
Since last week, a total of seven games have been postponed. The Nets, who now lead the Eastern Conference, are without nine players due to NBA rules.
Durant and Irving sidelined by Covid
Kevin Durant and James Harden are among them, as is Kyrie Irving, who had refused to be vaccinated but was cleared to return to the team on Friday.
All of Sunday’s games have been postponed, including Brooklyn’s game against Denver, Atlanta’s game against Cleveland, and Philadelphia’s home game against New Orleans.
Orlando’s game against Toronto on Monday has been canceled, as has Brooklyn’s game against Washington on Tuesday.
