One of the world’s richest Bitcoin Holder, Ray Dalio has described cryptocurrency as an”impressive form of investment compared to cash.
He also confirmed that he had gotten Ethereum in addition to bitcoin and said cash might just be the “worst investment.”
The billionaire investor was at first skeptical about the bitcoin “bubble” for years, but had a change of heart this year after he acquired the cryptocurrency.
Dalio also disclosed that he added ether to his portfolio, but said he doesn’t hold a huge chunk of either bitcoin or ethereum’s native token.
“I’m not going to give the precise amount of bitcoin or — but I do own some ethereum, as well,” he said.
Explaining why he thinks digital assets are a good investment, dioalio said he views it as an alternative money in an environment where the value of cash money is depreciating in real terms,”
“And I think it’s very impressive that for the last 10-11 years, that programming has still held up. It hasn’t been hacked and so on. And it has an adoption rate.” He said further.
