NBA: Devonte Graham Helps New Orleans Pelicans Beat Oklahoma City Thunder

The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 113-110 thanks to Devonte Graham’s amazing 61-foot buzzer-beater.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of Oklahoma tied the game with 1.4 seconds left in the NBA Western Conference game.

Graham’s incredible jumper, the longest game-winning buzzer-beater in 25 years, did, however, condemn Oklahoma to a third straight loss.

He explained, “I just wanted to get one up; I didn’t want to pull the ball out.”

At the Paycom Center in Oklahoma, the Thunder lead the Pelicans in the fourth quarter before Brandon Ingram scored three straight baskets to put the visitors ahead.

Graham’s shot from just beyond his own three-point line on the right side of the court astounded Ingram, who had 34 points.

“I thought it was going in. But when it went in, I was in disbelief,” Ingram said.

Rookie Austin Reaves led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 107-104 overtime victory against the Dallas Mavericks.
