Rafael Benítez Believes He Will Keep Shareholder Backing At Everton

Farhad Moshiri, Everton’s principal stakeholder, realizes that there will be no quick answer for the club’s problems in the January transfer window, according to Rafael Bentez.

Everton haven’t won in six games and will go to Brentford on Sunday without long-term injured absentee Dominic Calvert-Lewin and his first-choice striking partner Richarlison. After receiving five yellow cards in eight games this season, the Brazil international has been suspended. Demarai Gray, the team’s joint top scorer, is a huge injury concern.

“I think Mr Moshiri is quite clever and we cannot complain because he has spent a lot of money,” he said. “He is someone who is trying to improve the team and improve the club in every sense. He wants to do well but he knows, from when we had conversations in the beginning, they have to support me and support the structure in general so that we can improve.
