Brighton’s winless streak now stands at nine games after failing to score in a goalless Premier League draw with Leeds. Three times the Seagulls hit the woodwork.
Illan Meslier headed Leandro Trossard’s shot onto the upright in the first half, while Jakub Moder rifled the ball against the outside of the post from a tight angle in the second half.
Solly March’s effort hit the post late in the game. Neal Maupay was especially wasteful, missing the target twice when he had clear chances.
Right-back for the Seagulls As he continues his comeback from injury, Tariq Lamptey was brilliant in the first half, creating five chances.
Leeds, who took Kalvin Phillips off at half-time, had few chances, although Tyler Roberts was stopped twice in the final ten minutes by superb Robert Sanchez stops. Marcelo Bielsa’s side are still in the relegation zone, while Brighton have moved up to eighth place.
