Rain forced England’s intra-squad Ashes warm-up match in Brisbane to be called off without a ball being bowled on the final day.
In the three-day match, only 29 overs were bowled, with no play on day two as well.
Before the Ashes begin on December 8, England has only one more warm-up match, which will also be against the England Lions and will begin on Tuesday.
The Gabba in Brisbane will host the opening Test against Australia.
England reached 98-0 on the first day, with Haseeb Hameed hitting an unbeaten 53 before play was interrupted, and Rory Burns making 39 not out at the Peter Burge Oval.
