There were jeers at halftime, but by the end of the game, they had changed into cheers.

When the final whistle blew on Sunday, Tottenham manager Antonio Conte slapped the air with his fist and yelled in delight, celebrating a 2-1 triumph over Leeds and his first Premier League victory in charge of Spurs.

The atmosphere in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium had been drastically different just 45 minutes earlier, when the home side trailed 1-0 and had been vastly outclassed by their opponents.

The second-half change, though, was as quick as it was remarkable, with Spurs appearing like a completely different team, one that Leeds could not cope with.
