Following their midweek derby exploits, Manchester United manager Marc Skinner believes his team is well prepared to face unbeaten Women’s Super League leaders Arsenal on Sunday.
United’s 2-1 win over opponents in the Continental Cup Manchester City delighted Skinner, who regarded it as proof that his players are up to the task of challenging for the Premier League crown.
Skinner told MUTV: “It feels that the players have woken up to what we’re asking them to do with their energy and commitment.
“The talent is there, the quality is there, and they have this fight and spirit. They’ve shown it before and we’re going to continue to keep showing it.”
