Tuchel stressed that all parties involved in a new contract for Christensen, whose current contract expires next summer, are on the same page.
Tuchel is also hoping Toni Rudiger’s contract at Stamford Bridge, which expires at the end of the season, will be extended.
The Blues’ German manager feels Rudiger is aware of how highly he is regarded at Chelsea, but that he is also focused on the Premier League’s “toughest assignment.”
