Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has remained tight-lipped on whether Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Thomas Partey will be fit to play against Liverpool on Saturday.
After being carried off on a stretcher earlier in the international break, Aubameyang was unable to play in Gabon’s match against Egypt on Tuesday.
He has subsequently returned to training, but Arteta has refused to say if he will travel to Anfield as planned.
‘We have a lot of players, they have been through some different games, issues, little injuries. Today we have to test everybody and see how we are to play tomorrow. Let’s see how everybody is. We have to see them today before assessing and making a judgement on how everybody is.’
Meanwhile, Partey suffered a groin injury before the team’s last Premier League match against Watford.
