Frank Lampard In Talks To Fill Managerial Vacancy At Norwich City

Frank Lampard met with officials from Norwich City on Monday as the club continues its search for a new manager. The promoted side is considering three candidates, including the former Chelsea manager, and no decision has been made on a frontrunner.

Following an eight-game Premier League winless skid, the 43-year-old has been without a job since January 2021. In his first full season in charge, he guided Chelsea to fourth place and the FA Cup final.

Lampard hasn’t decided whether Norwich is the right match for him, so Monday’s discussions were an opportunity for both parties to learn more about one another.

Norwich City sacked Daniel Farke on Saturday, just days after leading them to their first Premier League win of the season, a 2-1 win against Brentford. With the club’s top-flight survival on the line, Stuart Webber, the club’s sports director, stated it was “the perfect time for a change.”
