As Ligue 1 leaders Paris St-Germain held off a late Bordeaux comeback to win, Neymar scored twice. After being spotted by Kylian Mbappe, the Brazil forward scored in the first half, shooting into the bottom corner. For PSG’s second goal, the two linked up once more, with Mbappe setting up Neymar for a goal from the edge of the box.
Mbappe added a third, but Bordeaux set up a tense end with two late goals, one by Alberth Elis and the other by M’Baye Niang.
PSG, however, hung on for a ten-point lead over Lens at the top of Ligue 1, despite the fact that Nice and Marseille, who are 11 and 12 points behind in third and fourth place, respectively, have a game in hand.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side has been in superb form in the league this season, losing just one game in their quest to recapture the crown after Lille’s triumph last season.
PSG were once again without Lionel Messi, who is recovering from a muscular ailment.
