West Ham United Manager David Moyes Believes His Team Has Earned Their Place In The Premier League Table

West Ham United manager David Moyes believes his team is deserving of its Premier League position, claiming the Hammers are “not imposters.” Moyes led the club to a sixth-place finish last season, qualifying for the Europa League, and his team has continued where they left off this season with a strong start.

On Sunday, the Hammers play Liverpool, knowing that a win would lift them over Jurgen Klopp’s side into third place in the table and keep them equal on points with Manchester City. Even if West Ham loses, they will still be in the top four heading into the international break, barring a dramatic change in goal difference and Arsenal’s victory over Watford.

“I think we are in the right position,” said Moyes. “The quality of the players we have got, we have now got several international players, players who are playing for Spain, players who are playing for France, players who are playing for England, boys from the Czech Republic, boys playing for some of the African nations. It’s incredible, the change.

“So there are certainly no imposters here. The boys here are here on their quality and what they bring to the club and the team and they have been really, really good.”
