Juventus secured their place in the Champions League knockout stage with a dazzling display against Zenit St Petersburg.
In Turin, Argentine forward Paulo Dybala scored twice and added an assist.
Juve took the lead in the first half thanks to his brilliant half-volley, but defender Leonardo Bonucci immediately headed into his own net. When Federico Chiesa was clipped, Dybala made it 2-1 from the penalty spot, and the Italian winger scored a third before Alvaro Morata added a fourth.
Sardar Azmoun of Zenit scored a late goal in stoppage time to limit the damage, but Juve’s attacking quality was much too much in Italy. Dybala and Chiesa were outstanding throughout, and the Argentine could have scored a hat-trick before being replaced in the second half to a standing ovation.
He got lucky when his first penalty miss was retaken due to encroachment, but he was fearless when he put it into the bottom-right corner.
In the first half, Morata had a goal disallowed for offside, but he was rewarded for his tireless efforts when he was played in by Dybala for Juve’s fourth goal. As a result, they have four wins from four games in Group H, while Zenit is in third place with three points.
