As Sergio Ramos’ injury nightmare continues, Paris Saint-Germain are apparently refusing to rule out the prospect of rescinding his mega-money deal and letting him walk away for free.

The Spanish defender joined PSG on a free transfer in the summer but has yet to make an appearance owing to a calf injury he sustained three months ago.
Ramos last played for Real Madrid on May 5, when they lost the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Chelsea.

Ramos’ remuneration has been said to vary widely, but even cautious predictions of £13 million per season (£250,000 per week) would mean he has already pocketed £4 million since signing in July.
Given his income at Real Madrid, which was in the region of £300,000 per week, he is likely to have received an even higher fee for sitting in the Parc des Princes’ stands.
