Timo Werner, according to Cesc Fabregas, has been let down by his Chelsea teammates, and he is ‘fed up’ as a result.
Last summer, the German striker moved from RB Leipzig to Stamford Bridge for £47 million, but he has failed to settle in west London.
After establishing himself as a goal-scoring juggernaut in the Bundesliga, the 25-year-old has yet to reproduce that form in England, netting just six goals in his maiden Premier League season.
Many Blues fans have been dissatisfied by Werner’s performances, as he has squandered numerous guilt-edge chances in front of goal, prompting the club to splurge the cash once more and bring Romelu Lukaku back to the club for £98 million.
While Werner’s goal-scoring woes have persisted this season, with only one goal in seven games, Fabregas believes the Germany international has a lot more to offer – but only if his club teammates give him the ball.
