Morelos Hit 100th Goal In Rangers’ Comeback Win At St Mirren

Rangers came back from a goal down to overcome St Mirren in Paisley, with Alfredo Morelos scoring his 100th goal for the club.

Steven Gerrard’s side climbed back to the top of the table, but they were down to ten men after Connor Ronan’s sensational strike put St Mirren ahead.

After Ianis Hagi was tripped, Kemar Roofe equalized with a penalty in the 42nd minute. And then, just a few moments later, Morelos returned home, sparking frenzied celebrations for the game-winning goal.

Rangers are now three points ahead of Hearts, who were defeated by Dundee at home on Saturday. St Mirren, who were aiming for a top-six finish, are now seventh after their three-game winning streak came to an end.

Late on, Republic of Ireland midfielder Jamie McGrath was stretchered off with an injury.
