Borussia Dortmund triumphed thanks to a spectacular solo goal from England international Jude Bellingham, keeping them within a point of Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.
The 18-year-old midfielder picked up the ball on the outskirts of the Arminia Bielefeld penalty area and dribbled past three players before putting the ball in.
Before Bellingham sealed it, Emre Can and Mats Hummelm both scored, with the hosts adding a late consolation. Bayern Munich thrashed Hoffenheim 4-0 for their third thrashing of the week.
The German champions cruised to victory despite the absence of manager Julian Nagelsmann, who was quarantined at home after testing positive for Covid-19 last weekend and thumping Benfica 4-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday.
However, after setting up a ‘analysis centre’ in his own kitchen and passing on instructions to his employees, the 34-year-old still had a say.
