Marcus Rashford Is Optimistic Of Being Fit For ManU’s Crunch Clash Against Liverpool

Marcus Rashford is optimistic that he will be fit to play for Manchester United against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Rashford left United’s Champions League win over Atalanta on Wednesday night with a “dead leg,” according to boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The England striker underwent treatment at Carrington on Thursday morning and is expected to be fit to face Jurgen Klopp’s team.

Given Rashford’s remarkable record of five goals in his previous eight games against Liverpool, Solskjaer will be even more eager to have him fit for Sunday.

‘It’s a dead leg,’ the United manager stated on Wednesday night when asked about the injury. I’m hoping he’ll be able to make it to Sunday. I sincerely hope and believe that this is the case. It might take a little longer than you’d want, but if we treat him correctly, he should be fine.’
