ManU, Liverpool And PSG ‘Were Rejected By Barca Star Ansu Fati Before He Signed His New Six-Year Deal

Ansu Fati, a Barcelona wonderkid, is said to have rejected Manchester United, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain in order to dedicate his future to the Nou Camp.

On Thursday, Fati agreed to a new contract with Barcelona that would keep him at the club until 2027, with a €1 billion (£846 million) release clause, which is identical to that of fellow academy graduate Pedri, who also signed a new deal this week. The forward, who turns 19 at the end of the month, admitted to turning down offers from other clubs to pursue his dream of playing for Barcelona.

PSG, United, and Liverpool, according to Diario Sport, all failed to persuade him away from the Nou Camp despite offering him earnings that were double those offered by Barcelona.

There are sure to be more high-profile exits as Barca’s debt exceeds £1 billion, and the club cannot afford to splurge out on new arrivals or even commit large sums to wages.

Fati, on the other hand, believes that despite Manchester City’s alleged interest, he was only ever interested in signing for the team he joined as a 10-year-old from Sevilla in 2012.
