Real Madrid trounced Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, with Vinicius Junior scoring two goals, including a spectacular solo effort.
Real led 1-0 at halftime thanks to an own goal by Sergiy Kryvtsov, who turned in a Lucas Vazquez cross.
Vinicius scored two goals in five minutes after the break, sweeping in from close range and then beating three players to add a superb third goal. Before Karim Benzema sneaked home late, Rodrygo swiped in Vinicius’ assist.
Real, in especially Vinicius, put on a fantastic second-half performance, continuing his excellent form this season. The 21-year-old has seven goals in nine appearances for Real across all competitions, including his first in the Champions League this season.
