Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have told Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he would like to start every game.

For their 1-1 draw with Everton before the international break, Solskjaer was chastised for starting the Portuguese superstar on the bench.

The Norwegian justified his choice to rest Cristiano Ronaldo, claiming that Sir Alex Ferguson, the Manchester United manager, did the same thing at times.

However, according to the Sun, Ronaldo was dissatisfied with his benching.

According to a club source, Solskjaer assumed Ronaldo was exhausted after the Champions League match against Villarreal and opted to rest him.

Ronaldo reportedly stated that he would inform Solskjaer if he was not healthy, that he wanted to start every game, and that if Manchester United were to win trophies, they must play their most important players in all games.
