Chelsea’s veteran defender Frank Leboeuf has cautioned them that winning the Champions League this season is ‘nearly impossible.’
Thomas Tuchel and his team won the coveted title earlier this year after defeating Manchester City 1-0 in Porto, courtesy to a goal from Kai Havertz.
They’ve been flying in the Premier League so far, and they appear to be on track to qualify for Europe’s group stage this time around, but Leboeuf has remained grounded.
Former defender Leboeuf even believes that lifting the trophy again will be ‘almost impossible’
‘I’m not sure if any of the fans of those four clubs would be happy with just the Carabao Cup.
‘The club doesn’t care about it and the fans don’t care about it, what they want is at least the FA Cup, if not the Premier League or Champions League.
