Super Eagles Hold First Training Session Ahead Of 2022 WCQ

The Super Eagles held their first training session on Tuesday evening at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos, ahead of their match against the Central African Republic’s Wild Beasts on Thursday, according to completesports.com.

The training session, which lasted around an hour, included 22 players.
The training was overseen by Gernot Rohr, the team’s head coach, as well as assistant coaches Joseph Yobo, Nabil Trabelsi, and Jean Luc Royer (fitness coach).
Alloy Agu, the goalkeeper coach, also worked with Daniel Akpeyi and Francis Uzoho.

Only goalkeeper Maduka Okoye of Sparta Rotterdam in Holland has still to arrive at the team’s Eko Hotel camp.The participants were in a jovial mood as they anticipated the game. The training session on Wednesday will be held behind closed doors.
