You’ve probably heard the phrase’speak it into existence,’ but what about tattooing a dream into existence… Sebastien Thill, the hero of Sheriff Tiraspol’s incredible win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night, appears to have done just that.
Thill slammed the winner past Thibaut Courtois with the score at 1-1 to send the Moldovan minnows into raptures.
Thill’s back is depicted with his number 31 shirt on, a Luxembourg flag above it, a Champions League trophy in a dream bubble next to it, and a goal beneath it. At the elite level of club play, the 27-year-old now has a memory to cherish for the rest of his life.
His goal rounded off a fantastic night for the Moldovans, who did everything they could to prevent Real from getting a late winner before scoring one themselves.
