Joe Barone, the general manager of Fiorentina, has stated that the club expects to meet with Dusan Vlahovic to discuss a new contract for the player.
Before the summer transfer market closed at the beginning of the month, Vlahovic was extensively connected with a move to Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola’s team touted as a possible destination for the player.
Tottenham Hotspur, City’s Premier League opponents, are also said to be interested in the ten-cap Serbia international, who is in his fourth season with Fiorentina.
Vlahovic has now scored six goals in seven games for Vincenzo Italiano’s side this season.
