With a six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in Sharjah, Chennai Super Kings reclaimed top spot in the Indian Premier League league.

Despite a 111-run opening stand between Devdutt Padikkal (70 off 50) and Virat Kohli, RCB fell to 156-6. (53 off 41).

RCB lost five wickets for 25 runs in four overs, with Dwayne Bravo taking 3-24. Ruturaj Gaikwad top-scored with 38 off 26 balls as CSK chased down the target with 11 balls to spare.

MS Dhoni’s team is now tied on points with the Delhi Capitals in second position, but they lead the table with a better run rate, while RCB stay in third place.

The IPL resumed in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday after the competition was postponed in May amid a surge in coronavirus cases in India.
