Sunrisers Hyderabad’s poor record in the Indian Premier League this season continued in Dubai, as they were defeated by Delhi Capitals by eight wickets.
Sunrisers were limited to 134-9 because to the bowling of Kagiso Rabada (3-37) and Anrich Nortje (2-12).
Delhi completed the mark with 13 balls to spare thanks to Shreyas Iyer’s 47.
The victory propels Delhi to the top of the table, passing Chennai Super Kings despite having played one more game, while Sunrisers stay at the bottom.
Despite T Natarajan of the Sunrisers testing positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday, the match went on.
After being postponed in May due to a spike in coronavirus infections in India, the IPL began in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.
