BRUNO FERNANDES is set to sign a new five-year contract with Manchester United for more than £250,000 per week.
The new agreements have been in the works for months, and the Portuguese superstar is close to signing them.
With the new deal, the 27-year-old, who was desired by Real Madrid and Barcelona, would raise his Man Utd pay by about £100,000-per-week.
After successful talks, SunSport knows that his new terms, which will extend until 2026, could be disclosed within the next two weeks. The attacking midfielder has established himself as an important member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad and a vocal leader in the locker room.
Since joining for £60 million from Sporting Lisbon 18 months ago, he has had an incredible impression. Because they are close international friends, Fernandes was one of the reasons Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford during the summer.
