Posted by Harvey Elliott, a Liverpool youngster, responded to a Manchester United supporter mocking his dislocated ankle injury on TikTok with a snappy retort of his own – but he got his facts wrong!
The 18-year-old had successful ankle surgery on Tuesday in London, and the Reds are hopeful that he will be able to play again this season after the horrific injury he sustained against Leeds on Sunday.
Now, after a United fan commented on a TikTok video showing Elliott, stating, ‘He’s not walking like that anymore,’ the midfielder responded on his own account, saying, ‘Crazy though how I have more legs than United had titles in the past 8 years.’
However, rival fans on social media were quick to point out Elliott’s mistake, given United have in fact won four trophies since 2013.
