Musa, Yobo, Enyeama: Who’s Nigeria’s Greatest Centurion?

When he played against Cape Verde on Tuesday, the Super Eagles attacker joined an exclusive group of players. On Tuesday, Ahmed Musa became Nigeria’s third centurion after appearing in the Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde.

The 28-year-old was picked in Gernot Rohr’s starting XI for the road game against the islands, despite a slew of absentees, following in the footsteps of Joseph Yobo and Vincent Enyeama.

Until this week, the great ex-goalkeeper and the legendary former centre-back were the only players in Nigerian football history to reach 100 appearances.

Musa’s performance against Cape Verde, however, brings the total number of players who have hit three figures with the Eagles to three.

As a result, Goal Nigeria is polling its readers to determine which of the three players is the greatest Eagle to have appeared in 100 or more games for the West African powers. Leave a comment below or vote here on whether Musa, Enyeama, or Yobo should receive the nod.
