After two Antoine Griezmann goals, France returned to winning ways in their World Cup qualification group, easing past Finland.

In the Group D match in Lyon, the Atletico Madrid forward shone in attack alongside Karim Benzema, scoring in each half to secure a comfortable victory.

Didier Deschamps’ team is now seven points clear at the top of their group after breaking a five-match losing streak, despite having played one game more than nearest opponents Ukraine.

Finland, who had strong first half, is in third place with five points, but the French have two games in hand.
