The France international has signed a four-year contract that will keep him at the London stadium until 2025.
Zouma, 26, had dropped down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge under Thomas Tuchel and had his physical on Thursday for his new club.
After signing with the Hammers, Zouma told the club’s official website, ‘I’m really happy and very proud.’
‘My chat with the manager moved at a breakneck pace. I simply got the impression that he really wanted me to join the club, especially since it’s a fantastic squad that’s off to a great start this season.
