Real Madrid has reportedly given Paris Saint-Germain until Sunday to agree a trade for Kylian Mbappe or they will sign him on a free transfer in January.
Los Blancos are anxious to recruit the French superstar before the transfer season closes, but PSG have dug in their heels to stave off their serious interest.
PSG turned down Madrid’s second offer of £154 million for the 22-year-old and are preparing a January bid for the Frenchman.
According to Le Parisien, the Spanish giants have told PSG that they must accept a bid for Mbappe by Sunday, or they will return in January to sign him on a pre-contract agreement for next summer.
With the transfer window closing on Tuesday, there isn’t much time left to complete the transaction. On Monday, Mbappe will join the French national team for their three World Cup qualifying matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, and Finland.
