It’s come back. Although the Champions League draw is not as entertaining as the action on the field, determining which clubs will encounter each other in the next months is always thrilling.

Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool have had their fates decided in Istanbul, and the English teams will have mixed emotions about their respective pairings.

In a rematch of last season’s Champions League semi-final, Pep Guardiola’s team will meet fellow big spenders Paris Saint-Germain, while Liverpool will face Atletico Madrid and AC Milan in their group.

Chelsea has been drawn with Juventus, while Manchester United will face Villarreal, whom they defeated in the Europa League final in May.

With all of the groups set, Sportsmail takes a closer look at the odds of the English teams making it to the knockout stages…
Manchester City was the first team out of the hat in Istanbul, having been matched with Lionel Messi and his all-star PSG club constructed this summer.

Since losing to City in the last-four in May, Mauricio Pochettino’s side has significantly enhanced their playing roster, with the additions of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos, Achraf Hakimi, Gini Wijnaldum, and, of course, Lionel Messi.
