The 36-year-future old’s at Juventus has been questioned, with the Portuguese star reportedly requesting to start the season opener against Udinese on the bench last weekend.

Ronaldo’s contract in Turin expires in a year, and the Italians are reportedly willing to sell their talisman for £25 million, despite interest from Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to L’Equipe, Ronaldo is presently pursuing a move to the Premier League, with the Portuguese hoping to join Pep Guardiola’s team later this month.

According to the French publication, Ronaldo is attempting to set up the proper conditions for a move, which may include a swap deal involving Portugal teammate Bernardo Silva or defender Aymeric Laporte. According to L’Equipe, a deal might be reached as soon as this weekend, which would be a major coup given Ronaldo’s close ties to Manchester United supporters.
