After Tottenham beat Manchester City 1-0 on Sunday night despite Kane’s absence, Graeme Souness and Micah Richards got into a furious debate regarding Paul Pogba and Harry Kane. When the pair couldn’t agree on Pogba’s involvement to discussions about his Manchester United future, they raised their voices, gesticulated passionately to defend their positions, and talked over each other.
To calm himself down, Souness stepped away from the camera, and when the argument resumed, he abruptly ordered presenter Dave Jones, who was battling to maintain control, to go on and talk about something else.

Last year, on the eve of a critical Champions League game against RB Leipzig, Pogba’s high-profile, controversial’super agent’ Mino Raiola publicly claimed that Pogba will leave Old Trafford and that his career there was over, angering fans and former players.
‘His agency may have done the talking, but he hasn’t done anything,’ he said. He’s just gone out there and done his best – and Kane has done the same, that’s what players want to do – but Souness interjected, ‘Do you think the agent speaks without the player’s permission?’ Do you believe the agent simply spews nonsense?’

Richards replied immediately: ‘I actually do, I actually do, definitely’ with Souness responding: ‘Not a chance, not a chance. He’s echoing the thoughts of the player.’
