According to Beteve’s ‘La Porteria’ program, the former Manchester City striker has instructed his lawyers to find a way out of his contract following his Argentine compatriot’s departure after 21 years with the Catalan giants.
Aguero made no secret of the fact that he chose Barcelona over many other top-flight European suitors in order to play alongside his close friend and six-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi.
Just days before joining Barca, Aguero put off signing the contract until he was certain his Argentina teammate would be staying. After been assured that the two would play together and that Messi’s contractual concerns would be sorted, Aguero, 33, is claimed to be furious that Messi has departed.
Aguero’s ‘future at Barca does not look good,’ according to La Porteria. ‘Of course, I aspire to play with Lionel,’ Aguero stated when he signed for Barcelona in May. I’m really familiar with him, and we’re excellent friends.
