Gary Neville Hails ManU’s Transfer Move So Far But Warns They Must Sort Out Their Goalkeeping Situation With David De Gea

Gary Neville has lauded Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane as “fantastic” signings, but has warned Manchester United that their goalkeeping problem must be addressed. Sancho’s £73 million move from Borussia Dortmund was finalised last month, putting an end to United’s long chase of the 21-year-old winger.

The Red Devils are also ready to reinforce their defensive lines with the arrival of Real Madrid centre-back Varane, who is set to complete a £42 million move to Old Trafford.

Despite the fact that Neville has been impressed by United’s summer recruitment, he insists that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s major focus now must be on deciding between David de Gea and Dean Henderson for the No 1 goalkeeper position.

Neville also lauded United’s transfer approach this summer, claiming that his former club is beginning to bring in the proper type of players to help them progress.
