Manchester City are apparently looking for Jack Grealish to inform his boyhood club Aston Villa of his desire to move this summer.
When Grealish returns to pre-season training on Monday, he is expected to have a battle with Villa.
According to the Daily Star, City chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak is getting more confident in his ability to recruit the 25-year-old and wants Grealish to help speed up the process by notifying the West Midlands club he wants to go.
Grealish has been on a break since his participation in the European Championships with England.
With his future at Villa uncertain, he is due to meet with manager Dean Smith as well as club owners Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris.
