Manchester City is expected to offer Ederson a fresh three-year contract extension.
In May 2018, at the completion of his first season at the Etihad Stadium, the Brazilian goalkeeper was given a new contract in honor of his part to Pep Guardiola’s first Premier League title.
That landed him a seven-year contract that runs through 2025, but new talks are already in the works, and it’s believed that he’ll sign it. In addition to adding to the squad with new arrivals this summer, senior City leaders have made it a priority to renegotiate the contracts of many key first-team players.
John Stones and Phil Foden are also in talks about a contract extension, and Ruben Dias is expected to get a pay hike just a year after joining.
