Arsenal has been warned that if they want to sign Manuel Locatelli, they’ll have to act quickly.
After an impressive Euro 2020 campaign in which Italy won the tournament after defeating England in the final at Wembley, the Sassuolo midfielder drew the attention of the North London club.
Mikel Arteta has already completed a £17 million deal to sign Albert Lonkonga from Anderlecht, but he wants to add more midfield reinforcements to cover the vacuum left by Granit Xhaka, who is poised to join Roma this summer.
Locatelli has emerged as one of Arsenal’s top targets, but he will face stiff competition for his services following his impressive displays at the European Championships.
