West Ham are trying to strengthen their defensive options ahead of the new season, and Jens Stryger Larsen of Udinese has been linked with a move. The versatile Dane has one year left on his contract with Udine, and rumors in Italy indicate that the Hammers have made an offer for him for around £4.2 million.
David Moyes, according to Corriere dello Sport, is keen to bring the 30-year-old to the London Stadium, with his versatility appealing to the Scot in particular. Stryger Larsen started all six of Denmark’s Euro 2020 matches, alternating between right-back and right-midfield.
Stryger Larsen has played on both sides of the defense and midfield, as well as as a centre-back, throughout his career. From his time at Austria Vienna and FC Nordsjaelland, the Udinese player has 42 caps for Denmark and European football experience.
