Ronaldo Is Set To Stay At Juventus

Following a season in which Juventus failed to win Serie A for the first time since 2010/11, Cristiano Ronaldo’s future remained uncertain; the Turin club wants to lock Ronaldo, Giorgio Chiellini, and Paulo Dybala down to new contracts.

The 36-year-€30 old’s million-per-year contract expires next summer, and Juventus risk losing him for nothing in 2022 unless they sell him or offer him a new contract this summer.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Stadium, and was expected to leave if the club failed to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Despite ending their nine-year Serie A winning streak last season, Juventus finished fourth and won both the Coppa Italia and the Suppercoppa Italiana. With 29 goals in 33 appearances, Ronaldo was also the highest scorer in the Premier League.
